Ann Hair has brought in several new pieces all in preparation for our next Open House where she is the featured artist. These are all painted in palette knife and are rich with color and lots of paint which makes you want to touch!
Save the date: Friday, September 10 from 6-8:00pm
You won't want to miss the chance to see these paintings face to face as they probably won't stay in the gallery very long. It is also a great opportunity to talk to Ann. She has recently moved back to Wilmington from Raleigh, NC and we are delighted to have her back.
This vibrant piece is "Tulips and Apples" by Ann Hair, oil on canvas, 24"x18".
Nancy Noel May brought several new pieces; colorful and playful and beautiful. Take a look at this one at right titled: "Watermelon and Sunflowers" which is acrylic on canvas and 10"x8". Click on Nancy Noel May to go to her artist's page to see other new work.
The piece at left is the newest painting by Jane Faudree. This painting is titled "Make a Wish" the first in a new series of abstracts. This luminous painting is acrylic on canvas and is 40"x30".
And last, but absolutely not least, is a dynamite selection of new jewelry by Sheila Stillman. At right is an exquisite Imperial Topaz Pendant. Sheila uses a process called granulation on this 22k gold pendant. Come by the gallery to see some of the other tempting treasures that we now have in Sheila's case.
