Dichroic glass is a type of glass containing multiple micro-layers of metal oxides which give the glass dichroic optical properties. Dichroic glass was originally developed by NASA and its contractors for use in satellite optics and spacesuit visors.

Spectrum Has a Following!

Who knew? Well, we did, but maybe you didn't! We just did a custom jewelry design for a customer in Alaska! Yes, that's right! He has never been to our store, but had a friend who had a custom ring made here and was so pleased, gave us a referral! The Alaskan is going to give the ring to his Northern girlfriend on his next trip to the east coast! We are glad to know our reputation now proceeds us nationwide!
